Editing Images is fun!

For some of my work projects, I often use the Windows + Print Screen button to quickly capture an image of the entire screen. It is an easy process, which I use to update exam procedures whenever I can not copy images. After capturing the picture, I use the crop tool to edit the image, and then copy the image to a Word document.

I had a lot of fun to edit the images used for this blog post.

1. The photo on the left side of the page, I edited in PowerPoint by choosing a picture style, changed color saturation, and color tone. This is the Sphinx, is a rock formation named for its sphinx-like appearance, which is situated in the Bucegi Mountains.

2. The photo on the left side of the page I edited in PowerPoint by choosing a picture style (Soft round bevel) and changed the color saturation.

This are Babele (meaning The old women) is a name for an area on the Bucegi Mountains plateau in Romania, within the Southern Carpathians.

Babele is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country. The name comes from some mushroom shaped rock formations, the result of erosion and varying hardness of the rock layers.

The Babele chalet is accessible either by cable car from Busteni or by road. It can also be reached by foot, coming from Bușteni through Valea Jepilor (Juniper Valley), or from the crest of the Bucegi Mountains, coming from the Piatra Arsă (The Burned Rock) chalet.

3. The photo on the left side of the page I edited in PowerPoint by choosing a picture style  and changed the color saturation. This is the Black Church (Romanian: Biserica Neagra), stands in the city of Brasov in south-eastern Transylvania, Romania. It was built between 1383 and 1385.

  1. This was a fun post to read, I love to learn anything about history or so looking at the black church in Romania was very interesting. Also looking at the rock formations is fun; it is amazing to see the structures that nature can create. I also think this was informative, I have never realized that power point has the potential to edit photos. This has given me some great ideas to edit photos in the future. Thanks!

  2. Hi Ashlie!
I am glad to hear that you had fun reading my post. Thank you for visiting my blog and for your comment. Whenever possible, I like to share a little about my roots and the history of my country. Romania is a little drop of Latinity surrounded by Slavic countries. PowerPoint is an amazing software program that has many capabilities, and will be a great tool to edit photos, especially that you are an artist.

    Best regards,

    Geni
