EduEase - A Free AI Quiz from Any PDF

EduEase is a Free AI Tool

EduEase.ai is a great technology tool for teachers to avoid paperwork, lesson plans, to make classes more engaging and to save time.

EduEase is a tech tool that creates a multiple-choice quiz by uploading the PDF, in few minutes. Teachers can get an interactive quiz that can be given to students online.

The AI does most of the work, but teachers can make slight changes to the questions or add in a few of their own.

When the quiz is ready, teachers can share the link with students through LMS, send it via email, or other ways used to communicate with their class. By using the preview option, teachers can see what their students will experience beforehand.

Pros and Cons

Cons - The quizzes are multiple-choice only, which isn't everyone's favorite. In addition, students could find many ways to cheat.

Pros - it is massive time-saver, it is super easy to use, and it’s free. It’s perfect for those quick, low-stakes quizzes teachers want to add to the course without spending to much time.

While reading about technology tools, I found EduEase - A Free AI Quiz from Any PDF by Richard Byrne, which is I believe another great technology tool for teachers to use.

Google Classroom assignments

What is Google Classroom?

Is a free technology tool that can be used by anyone with a personal Google account. It's also free for organizations using Google Workspace for Education or Google Workspace for nonprofits. In most cases, teachers and students can access Google Classroom using a Google account provided by their school. https://www.teachthought.com/technology/google-classroom/

During the COVID-19 pandemic, one of the applications that made this huge transition possible was Google Classroom, which was created with the purpose to simplify the process of creating, distributing, and grading assignments. It integrates within itself Google Slides, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, and Gmail which collaboratively provide the features and functionality of an offline classroom’s experience to the best possible extent. It is accessible from any computer via Google Chrome or mobile device irrespective of platform. Any files uploaded by teachers and students are stored in a Classroom folder on Google Drive. They can access Classroom anytime, anywhere.

Benefits  of working with Google Classroom:

1. Providing exposure to grow

Classroom facilitates the exposure of students with an online learning system.  Exposure to Google Classroom helps the students transition to different learning management systems used in higher education.

2. Being paperless reduces the hassle

Classroom is completely paperless. Teachers upload assignments and assessments to Classroom at the same time as they upload them to Drive. Students can use Classroom to complete assignments and assessments, and their work is saved to Drive. They are also able to access work that has been missed due to absences and find other resources that they may require.

3. Saves a lot of time

Classroom can help you save a lot of time. Teachers have more time to complete other tasks now that all of their resources are in one place and they can access Classroom from literally anywhere with the internet.

 4. Facilitates communication for better understanding

Communication between teachers and students can take place through email, teachers can send private comments on assignments, and provide feedback on the work of students. Teachers have complete control over the comments and posts made by their students. They can also communicate with parents via individual emails or Classroom email summaries, which contain information such as class announcements and due dates.

5. Collaboration to keep the environment alive

Students can collaborate in a variety of ways in the classroom. Within the Classroom, teachers can facilitate online discussions between students and create group projects.

Google Classroom assignments

Google Classroom has a lot of options but, more importantly, it can allow teachers to do more to help educate students remotely or in hybrid settings. A teacher is able to set assignments and then upload documents that explain what is required for completion, and also provide extra information and a place for students to actually work.

More resource and information on how to create assignments can be accessed here: Google Classroom’s support page.
